In Australia, the Cervical Screening Test (CST) replaced the Pap smear in 2017. For most people it’s recommended every 5 years from age 25 to 74. In many cases you can now choose to self-collect your sample in a private space at the clinic, or have your GP collect it – both are accurate options. Our GPs can explain what’s right for you.
Yes. Female GPs are available at our clinic. When you book online or call reception on 07 5510 9222, let us know you’d prefer a female GP and we’ll do our best to arrange it.
For eligible Medicare patients, cervical screening with your GP is bulk billed. Cervical screening is generally recommended every 5 years from age 25 to 74. Book an appointment and our team can confirm what applies to you.
Yes. Most people can now choose to self-collect their cervical screening sample in a private space, or have a GP collect it. Both are accurate and approved options. Your GP can explain the process and help you decide.
Yes. Our GPs provide contraceptive advice and can insert and remove the Mirena (IUD) and Implanon (contraceptive implant). Book a consultation to discuss which option may suit you.
Yes. We provide pre-natal, antenatal and postnatal care, including pregnancy shared care, with midwifery support available. Book an appointment early in your pregnancy so we can plan your care.
