Our Travel Health Clinic provides pre-travel consultations, destination-specific advice and travel vaccinations, so you can travel with greater peace of mind, wherever your journey takes you.


It’s best to see us 6–8 weeks before you travel, as some vaccines take time to become effective and others need more than one dose. If your trip is sooner, it’s still worth coming in – we can do what’s possible in the time available.

Travel consultations and most travel vaccines are privately billed, as they’re generally not covered by Medicare (though a standard GP consultation component may attract a Medicare rebate). Our reception team can explain the fees when you book.

It depends on your destination, activities and health history. At your travel consultation, your doctor reviews your itinerary and recommends the vaccinations and preventive medications appropriate for you. Routine vaccinations are also checked to make sure they’re up to date.
