Looking after your health, made straightforward

It’s common for men to delay health checks until something feels wrong. A regular check-up is a chance to look at your overall health, talk through any concerns, and pick up potential issues early – when they’re often easier to manage. Our doctors keep it practical and respectful, with time to discuss whatever’s on your mind.

Our men's health services

General men’s health check:
A check-up tailored to your age and health – covering blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, lifestyle, and any concerns you’d like to raise.
 Prostate health & PSA testing:
Prostate health becomes more relevant as you get older. Whether to have a PSA blood test is a decision to make together with your GP, based on your age, family history and preferences. Our doctors can explain the benefits and limitations of testing so you can make an informed choice.
Sexual health & erectile concerns:
Confidential care for sexual health, including STI checks and support for erectile concerns. These are common and treatable – and we’re here to talk about them without awkwardness.
Heart, cholesterol & diabetes checks:

Checks of your cardiovascular risk, cholesterol and blood sugar, with advice on reducing your risk.

Mental health & wellbeing:
Work, family and life can take a toll. Our GPs can support your mental wellbeing and, where helpful, connect you with psychology support through a care plan.
Skin cancer checks:
Skin checks are important for men, who have higher rates of some skin cancers. Checks and treatment are available on-site.

When should men have a health check?

As a general guide:
  • In your 20s–30s: baseline checks of blood pressure, mental health, sexual health and skin.
  • In your 40s: add heart-disease and diabetes risk checks; discuss prostate health if relevant.
  • 50 and over: regular check-ups, discussion of prostate (PSA) testing, bowel cancer screening, and ongoing heart and diabetes checks.

Your GP will tailor what’s right for you based on your health, family history and lifestyle.
