Sprained an ankle, pulled a muscle, or dealing with a niggle that won’t settle? Our GPs assess and manage sports and soft-tissue injuries, arrange any imaging you need, and coordinate rehabilitation – helping you understand your injury and work towards a safe return to activity.

Whether your injury happened on the field, at the gym or in everyday life, getting it assessed early can help you recover well and avoid further problems. Our doctors examine the injury, explain what’s going on, start appropriate treatment, and arrange imaging or referrals if they’re needed.
Assessment & diagnosis:
A thorough examination to understand your injury, how it happened and how it’s affecting you.
Treatment & pain management:
Initial management and advice – including pain relief, strapping or immobilisation where appropriate, and a clear plan for the days ahead.
Imaging & referrals:
If imaging is needed, your GP can arrange a referral for X-ray, ultrasound or MRI, and refer you to a physiotherapist, podiatrist or specialist where appropriate.
Rehabilitation & return to activity:
Guidance and review as you recover, with a focus on returning to your sport or activity safely and reducing the chance of re-injury.
